Vision: I want to study Medical Sciences and become a qualified doctor. If I cannot afford to become a doctor I would like to be a nurse.
My name is Elizabeth Chizanye Bagirukobenda. I am the daughter of Samuel Bagirukobenda and Asnath Nyiramahane. I was born at Kavange Village on April 8, 1999. I am the last born of my family of 5 girls and 5 boys, with two vulnerable parents.
During 1997 we fled from DRC to Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Uganda. After living in Kyangwali for 9 years we returned home to our country.
After returning home in 2006 I immediately started Primary school in Bunagana (DRC). In 2017 I was in Secondary school in level Senior six. My study was commercial business.
Even if my parents were old they were paying for my school fees. Sometimes I would work hard in the holidays and pay half of my school fees. Other family members would also help me pay school fees.
I want to study Medical Sciences and become a doctor. If I cannot afford to become a doctor I would like to be a nurse. This is my vision because I want to be treating sick people. I do believe that without health care, no one can achieve their goals. I am motivated to work on my vision because my community is facing poor medical care, especially women during maternity period.
Thank you for your consideration, Elizabeth
